So I have been reminded that it has been a while since we have done a post on ways to generate some quick income. So here’s today’s tidbit!
How about you sell some of your old books.
I have to admit first that I am a total book junkie. And by that I mean if I had one of those old plantations with a “study” or “library” I would be able to fill it floor to ceiling with books in about a month. Not just because I love to read but I wholeheartedly believe that reading is one of the most important parts to gaining new insight and knowledge.
Disclaimer: Sometimes the price you can get differs between sites so I always check multiple sites to see what my particular book is selling for.
And here is my list of online places I personally have sold books at:
You can enter your ISBN number if it’s just a book but you can also trade in DVD’s, or CD’s.
My Book Buyer
They really do focus on textbooks which means if you have textbooks to sell back this may be your best place to check. The more niche means higher payouts for you.
I do love the ability to type in the ISBN number and actually get a quote on what they will pay you for your book. You accept their offer and mail it directly to them. They pay you. Done.
They give you the same option as Cash4Books that you can type in the ISBN # and they give you a quote but you also have the option to list your books individually and wait to see if you get more.
Do you have any experience selling books online? I’d love to hear other places you have had success.
